"Let's talk about God..."

Everleigh and Andrew are both enrolled at Christian
Pre-Schools so both are experiencing new things
and hearings new stories.
The other day Everleigh, Briggs and I were sitting at
lunch.  In her most serious voice, Everleigh
looked at me and said...."Let's talk about God."
....
So I said, "What would you like to talk about God?"
And she said, "Is he really Everywhere?"
So we had a brief talk about God being Everywhere
and He is always with us.  She wanted to know if he sees
Everything....and then I saw the wheels turning....
"He sees Everything?"  (as in all the good things
and all the bad things?)
And I said, "yes"...he sees and knows everything.
We can't always understand how he does this
but we have faith that he does.
A Revelation...
God can see when I'm naughty And nice.
hmmmm

Then, another day I'm with Andrew and he's
singing...."In the Name of the Father,
and the Son, and the Holy Spirit..."
in perfect preacherly chant.

Recently, the kids wanted to "wash" my car....
so why not?

Andrew (hidden in the "rocket"), Everleigh
and Briggs pretend Briggs' crib is a rocket ship.

Ethan and Everleigh like each other and often interact
in positive ways.  She has a lot of patience with him
and he loves all the attention.

Here, Everleigh and Andrew are playing a combination
of Thomas the Train and Littlest Pet Shops.

Everleigh took this picture....pretty good.

Briggsie Boy is 2!

Scott's son, Briggs, turns 2 today (Oct 8).  Only
2 years since his birth day and now we
can't remember what life was like without him.

This is Briggs and me on his first birthday.

And here we are a few days ago.

Briggs is a unique individual.  He does everything with
gusto....from his greeting ("Hi, Grandma Bunny!")
to his infectious laugh, he always gives everything he's got.
That's also why he's got a few bumps and bruises most
of the time.  He's always glad to see everyone and
isn't shy with his kisses and hugs.  His vocabulary
is extensive.  I don't think there is anything he can't say.
When I go in to get him out of his crib after his nap
and ask him how he is, he usually says, "Good!"
He's sweet to his sister, loves his daddy and
is a total mommy's boy.  I love his run....quick little
steps with one arm pumping on the side....full tilt.
He's getting loads of blond curls and has eyes
that will melt your heart....he'll be a total lady killer.
Happy Birthday....can't wait to
see what 2 looks like on you.
